From Hampshire Alert/Hampshire and IOW Constabulary: Man arrested following indecent exposure incident in Southampton Common

“Police have arrested a man following a report of indecent exposure in Southampton Common.

We received a call reporting that, at about 12pm on Thursday 29 July, a man exposed his genitals to two 15-year-old girls in The Common.

Officers arrested a man today, a 48-year-old from Southampton, on suspicion of indecent exposure.

He remains in custody.

We know there have been several incidents of indecent exposure reported in the area of The Common recently. We would encourage anyone who has experienced something similar who has not yet spoken to police, to please come forward and speak to us.
