SCC Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) Consultation – the Consultation closes on 11 July 2025

Southampton City Council are consulting on their proposals to extend Public Spaces Protection Orders across Southampton for a further three years. PSPOs help them to tackle anti-social behaviour. The proposals are to re-implement controls on street drinking for a further 3 years (this control expired at end of April 2025) with additional proposed measures to curb aggressive begging and drug misuse.
