Cash machine seriously vandalised – outside Waitrose, Portswood

Men in a large white van tried unsuccessfully to open it/lift it. An eye witness called 999 and the police arrived straightaway. They ran off leaving everything, including the van.

20mph speed limit appears to be widely ignored – along Portswood Road as far as Lodge Road

The limit appears to be widely ignored – what checking is done? Additionally, most of the signs are very high up. The HRA member’s car does not pick them up and it could be true of some other cars. It would be good to have the speed limit painted on the road. Member to raise this at PACT on 8 September...
