Occupants of unknown car in PRG tennis club drive thought to be smoking weed. Police called on 101

Posted by Highfield Residents' Association on Jan 13, 2026 in Crime Incidents | 0 comments A small dark coloured car was parked in the PRG tennis club drive from 11pm-approximately 7am on night of 12/13 January with 2 young male occupants inside chatting and smoking what was thought smelt like weed. The police were phoned on 101 and arrived within 10 mins. They spoke to the occupants and then left.

Masked man asking for money – in neighbour’s garden, bottom end of Brookvale Road, near Waitrose

He wanted money and to get through to the front.  He was given some money and he left via the front on his smart bike. He was short and stocky and not frightening, but “watch out and keep your doors locked”. The neighbours have been encouraged to report this to the police.

Innversion Hair and Beauty burgled over weekend of 2/4 January 2026

HRA Member verbally abused at London Road bus stop recently
