‘Bed’ in Portswood High Street outside Farm Foods – reported to community safety (5/11/25)

Community Safety arranged for it to be removed by the landlord of Portswood Shopping Centre (on 17/11/25) as it was not on Council land. Rick’s MOT motor scooter rider went through an orange/red traffic light – outside Sainsbury’s main pedestrian entrance on St Denys Road

Posted by on Nov 5, 2025 in Crime Incidents | 0 comments At about 09.45am, 5th November: a motor scooter (black machine) rider (learner driver) ignored the traffic lights and before them, turned left onto the pavement. The motor scooter had a black with bright design Rick MOT box on the back.  There was no danger to any pedestrian, wheelchair or prams. The pavement was empty. Reported online (E: AO’N).

Person nearly ridden into by a young man riding an illegal scooter on the pavement – outside 318 Portswood Road
