Attempted burglary – Crofton Close

The lady was alone with three children when she heard the front door glass being broken. She called out and the two men fled in a waiting car. The police were called and attended. Doorbell recorded photos of the men but their faces were covered.

Someone pursued, tasered and arrested by Police – Donnington Grove

It is understood that he ran off from Portswood and went through several back gardens in Donnington Grove and Richmond Gardens before being apprehended. Suspicious activity / intelligence – Oakmount Triangle

They have pictures with number plates of the cars involved. Two suspicious vehicles have been monitored for several weeks with people swapping packages from the boots of the two cars. Flytipper – Osborne Road

In January, a local resident sent him the original of a video of a man with a white van who was flytipping in Osborne Road car park. As a local councillor, he was able to  chase things up with the flytip team so it could be used in evidence to prosecute. The flytipper has now received a £400 penalty notice!
