Cash machine seriously vandalised – outside Waitrose, Portswood

Took place on night of Monday 18 August 2025. Men in a large white van tried unsuccessfully to open it/lift it. An eye witness called 999 and the police arrived straightaway. They ran off leaving everything, including the van.

The Avenue Artists Exhibition, and a different heritage/cultural talk every day, are taking place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend 23, 24 and 25 August 2025, 1-5pm at Avenue St Andrews United Reformed Church!

There is also a different heritage/cultural talk taking place each day on 23, 24 and 25 August, as well as live music. The event will be officially opened at 1pm on Saturday 23 August, by the very first Lord Mayor, Jacqui Rayment. The event will close with a comedy show from Southampton University Science Comedians!
