Possible attempted break-in: Crofton Close

A man was found lying behind the side gate of a house in Crofton Close on the afternoon of Tuesday 12 May. He might have fallen while climbing over. He had a head injury and was unresponsive. An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital. The ambulance crew reported the injury to the police. 2pm and then at 3pm, Saturday 9 May 2026: 6 street drinkers (increasing to 10-12) outside former charity shop next to Victory Gospel Church

Majority drinking from cans, stumbling around. One stumbling into road – lots of traffic queued at lights in that area very near to them. At 3pm this group had increased to 10-12, mainly men, probably 2 women. Lots of shouting. Drugs or alcohol possibly involved. Reported to the Police online and also Community Safety.
