Latest incident, evening of 27/06/24, perpetrated by young lads with faces covered with masks / scarves who came from the tennis court area of the University grounds. Reported to 101. Car parked with window on driver’s side broken – Highfield Crescent

Reported to Group on 26/06/24. Very recent. Photo of car and registration no posted in the WhatsApp Group – no people involved. Car is parked half-way up on left-hand side as you walk up Highfield Crescent. Feedback after reporting to Police – owner is aware of the damage.

Thick stained glass in a door broken, could be by an air rifle – Oakmount Triangle

Happened on 25/06/24, about 1.5/2 hours ago (now 3.50pm). Question – should they ring 999 or 101? Response from LN 101. 999 is if immediate risk to life, property or crime in action.   Note: Lots of reports of broken glass. Cllr S has looked at these and Police suspect it could be a catapult attack which could be just as dangerous.
