Took place during night of 10/11 January 2024. Nothing stolen. Incident reported to police. The representative is wondering if it is related to the incidents of night-time prowlers earlier in the week caught on CCTV camera, documented on this site? She has a criminal reference no and suggested if there were other similar incidents reported within the Group, this can be used.

Suspicious incidents on night of 7/8 January 2024 – Brookvale Road and Highfield Lane

A resident’s CCTV camera captured two people at 2am walking around the drive/front garden and then crouching for cover when the security lights went on. No other associated incidents in Brookvale Road were reported. A similar incident was reported on Highfield Lane. The culprits were caught on CCTV. The owners encouraged to report the incident to the police.

Daughter on own woken up at 1.30am by three women knocking loudly on door…. – Oakmount Triangle

Daughter at home on own with dog asleep, and was woken by three women early/mid 20s or so, knocking loudly on the front door at 1.30 am on Sunday morning. They said there was a black dog walking around the street with a shaved side. Daughter spoke to them through the door as she was scared, particularly at that time of the morning. She phoned 101 for advice but waited an hour or so on the phone...

Car on driveway when broken into. Happened on weekend of 23/24 September 2023. Nothing damaged or taken. Their car App informs the victim if they have left the car unlocked, yet they had not used it for 24 hrs. It is suspected that the thieves used RFID or similar – Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to emit radio waves, track, identify and receive signals from key fob. Police informed...
