Here is a message from Cllr Savage on the Litter Pick that was organised for yesterday, Sunday 13 April 2025 by the three Portswood Ward Councillors: Cllr Barbour, Cllr Finn and Cllr Savage:

“A great turnout for the inaugural Portswood Central Community Litter Pick. So many people came along this morning and around 15 bags of waste were collected from Belmont, Westridge, Osborne S. and Lawn Roads, including the play park. An invitation from your three local Councillors for Portswood Ward – Cllr Barbour, Cllr Finn and Cllr Savage: to a ‘litter pick’ in Belmont Road, the play and dog parks and Lawn Road this Sunday 13 April from 09:30h to 10:30!

A woman had a very unpleasant experience – Brookvale Road

On Wednesday 9 April, she walked outside her house to see a man make a gesture with his hand to show he was watching her, raise his middle finger then spat on the floor and went into Highfield Church Hall.
