A HRA member has reported to me that around lunchtime yesterday (Wed 14 May), two men were stood in the middle of Portswood High Street, in the road, shouting abuse at each other and stopping the traffic. Threatened staff in the Portswood kebab shop – large police presence on the Broadway

Reported at 17:44 on Wednesday 14 May that street attached/street drinkers threatened staff in the kebab shop and there is currently a large police presence on the Broadway. There is also a person sleeping by the car park surrounded by cans of beer. Reported to Community Safety.

Portswood Bus-gate temporarily suspended!

In the Council Meeting just now (15:04), Cllr Keogh has just announced the 3 month monitoring report will not be positive due to excess traffic on Brookvale Road and safety concerns.
