It was reported to us by a HRA member that at about 10.45am on Monday 19 August 2024, 4 or 5 men were sitting on the steps of October Books bookshop drinking (open cans of drink were seen) and messing around. Burglary – Muse Café, Portswood

It was reported that the front door was smashed with a brick and an empty till was stolen at around 4 am on Wednesday 7 August 2024. The police are investigating the incident as a burglary. A spokeman reported in the Daily Echo of 7/8/24 said “The incident at Muse is related to a burglary overnight, not any ongoing disorder.”
